Privacy Policy

• Your scans stay on your device. StoragePilot analyzes your files locally. We do not upload, copy, or read the contents of your files.
• We collect only what we need to sell licenses, deliver them, and run optional AI+ features.
• We don't sell your data.

Purchase & account information. When you buy Pro or subscribe to AI+, our payment provider (Stripe) collects your email and payment details and shares with us the information needed to fulfill your order — typically your email address, the product purchased, and a transaction identifier. We do not receive or store your full card number.

License information. We generate a license key tied to your purchasing email so we can deliver it and verify entitlements (including AI+ subscription status).

AI+ request data. If you use AI+ explanations or Deep Scan, the app sends limited metadata about the relevant findings — such as file and folder paths, sizes, types, and risk classifications — to our AI gateway and model provider in order to generate a response. The contents of your files are not sent.If you would rather not share this metadata, simply don't use the AI+ features; the local rule-based analysis works without them.

Support communications. If you email us, we keep your message and contact details to respond.

Website & download logs. Our hosting and download infrastructure may process standard technical data (such as IP address and user-agent) to serve pages and installers securely.

• The contents of files scanned on your device.
• A copy or index of your drive that leaves your computer.
• Your full payment card details.

• To process purchases and deliver and verify license keys.
• To provide AI+ explanations and Deep Scan when you request them.
• To provide support and send essential service emails (such as your license).
• To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or security issues.
• To comply with legal obligations.

We share limited information with vendors who help us run the Service:

• Stripe — payment processing and subscription management.
• Our email provider — to deliver license and account emails.
• Our AI gateway and model provider(s) — to generate AI+ responses from finding metadata you submit.
• Our hosting / download platform — to serve the website and installers.

These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms and security practices. We do not sell personal information.

We keep purchase and license records for as long as needed to support your license, comply with tax and legal obligations, and resolve disputes. AI+ requests are processed to return a result and are retained only as long as needed for that purpose and for provider abuse-prevention, subject to their policies.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you by emailing flightcrew@pilotsuite.design. You can cancel an AI+ subscription at any time, and you can remove a license from a computer within the app. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we handle. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
