Terms of Service
Last updated June 14, 2026 · StoragePilot is operated by PilotSuite LLC.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and PilotSuite LLC ("PilotSuite LLC", "we", "us", or "our") governing your access to and use of the StoragePilot application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By downloading, installing, purchasing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. What StoragePilot does
StoragePilotis a disk-analysis and storage-cleanup tool. It scans folders you choose, classifies what it finds by risk, explains those findings (optionally using AI), and — at your direction — moves selected items to your operating system's Recycle Bin or Trash so you can reclaim space. StoragePilot surfaces recommendations; you decide what is removed.
2. Your responsibility for what is deleted
You are solely responsible for reviewing every finding and for choosing which items to remove. StoragePilot only acts on the items you select and confirm. Risk labels, explanations, and AI suggestions are guidance only and may be incomplete or incorrect.
3. Eligibility and authorized use
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. You may only run StoragePilot on computers and storage you own or are authorized to administer. You are responsible for all activity performed through your copy of the Service.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service to delete, access, or alter data you are not authorized to manage;
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to harm others' data or systems;
- reverse engineer, resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service except as expressly permitted;
- circumvent license enforcement, share or generate license keys, or bypass payment; or
- interfere with or abuse our servers, APIs, or AI services.
Misuse of the Service is your responsibility, not ours, and may result in suspension or termination of your license without refund.
5. Licenses, purchases, and billing
StoragePilot is free to download and scan. Pro is a one-time purchase that unlocks cleanup and additional features via an offline license key. AI+ is a recurring subscription that adds cloud-powered explanations and Deep Scan. Payments are processed by our payment provider (Stripe); we do not store your full card details.
AI+ renews automatically until cancelled; you can cancel at any time and retain access through the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable.
Personal, multi-device license.A Pro license is issued to the purchasing email address for use by a single person. You may install and activate it on as many computers as you personally own or control. Please don't share your license key with others or use it on behalf of separate individuals or organizations; for team or multi-user deployment, contact us about an appropriate plan.
6. AI features disclaimer
AI-generated explanations, classifications, and Deep Scan plans are produced by automated models and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your situation. They do not constitute professional advice. Always exercise your own judgment before acting on any AI output. When you use AI+, limited metadata about findings (such as file paths, sizes, and types — not file contents) is sent to our AI provider to generate a response, as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties including Stripe (payments), our email provider, our AI gateway/model providers, and the platform that hosts our downloads. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions.
8. No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. PilotSuite LLC does not warrant that the Service will be accurate, uninterrupted, error-free, or that any item it identifies is safe to remove. You use the Service at your own risk.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PilotSuite LLC and its owners, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, files, profits, revenue, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service — including any deletion of, damage to, or inability to recover any data — even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
In all cases, PilotSuite LLC's total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) fifty U.S. dollars (US$50).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty or liability exclusions, so some of the above may not apply to you; in that case our liability is limited to the smallest extent permitted by law.
10. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless PilotSuite LLC and its owners, employees, and suppliers from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use or misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your deletion of or interference with any data.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access or license if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 2, 8, 9, 10, and 13) will survive.
12. Changes to the Service and these Terms
We may update the Service or these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located there for any dispute not subject to binding arbitration or small-claims court.
